#Leaders, are you OK with 25% of your workforce leaving due to burnout? I didn't think so. According to a McKinsey report on Women in the Workplace, 1 in 4 women are considering downshifting their careers or leaving the workforce entirely. This is not OK. Financial anxiety, household responsibilities and, for working moms, childcare and homeschooling have led to a #shesession, not a recession. For many women, the solution is to leave. Women need to lead the workplace, not leave it. For leaders, the solution is to act now, or lose 1/4 of your talented workforce. Leaders can't afford to keep the status quo "until things get back to normal". It's crucial to develop and implement a robust plan, supported by authentic, meaningful communication and training, to retain valuable employees. If you're feeling burned out, you're not alone. Silence is not golden. This is the time to speak up, set appropriate boundaries and get the help and support you need. Are you shocked by this report? Or shocked that this isn't the #1 thing that everyone is talking about? Do you need my help developing a plan to support yourself or your employees? Let me know! #leadership #thursdaythoughts #workingwomen #entrepreneurs #changewithoutpain #employeeengagement #working #empowerment #change #transformation
